What would you do if you got a letter like this?
Grady Jones has never been Great at anything, but when he gets this letter, he decides that maybe that means he'll be a Great Detective!
The only problem is, for a Great Detective, he lacks some basic skills, such as solving puzzles, interviewing suspects, or collecting clues.
Fortunately, his neighbor Mikayla Morales is good at all those things, and between the two of them, they just might solve this thing. Until a mysterious stranger shows up, and changes everything they thought they knew about the case.
Who is Grady Jones?
Despite his ordinary life in the small town of Hammett, Grady Jones has always believed that he must be great at something. He's just never figured out what.
So when the town's local billionaire dies, and leaves Grady a letter ("only you can solve the mystery of my murder") Grady assumes he must be a Master Detective.
But, spoiler: Grady is not a Master Detective. Far from it. And now, with the whole town counting on him, Grady needs to come up with an epic plan, and fast.
